Explore the ancient temples of Angkor on a carefully planned two-day private tour combining iconic landmarks, hidden jungle temples, and authentic local experiences.

On Day 1, discover the atmospheric temples of Ta Prohm, famous for its enormous tree roots and appearance in Tomb Raider, and Tanei, a peaceful jungle temple reached on foot through the forest. Continue to Ta Keo, one of Angkor's impressive mountain temples, before exploring the ancient royal city of Angkor Thom. Visit the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King, Royal Palace area, Phimean Akas, Baphuon, and the remarkable Bayon with its famous carved faces.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious local dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance, an elegant introduction to Cambodia's classical cultural heritage.

On Day 2, visit the extraordinary Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument, before continuing to Preah Khan, Neak Pean, and the beautiful countryside surrounding the Angkor region. After lunch, discover Banteay Srei, renowned for its exceptionally detailed pink sandstone carvings. Along the way, experience local rural life and learn about traditional sugar palm production before visiting Banteay Samre.

Travel comfortably throughout the tour in a private air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced English-speaking guide. Mineral water and cold tissues are provided during the tours.

A sunset extension at the temples can be arranged at no additional charge upon request. An early sunrise visit can also be arranged for an additional fee.

Itinerary

Day 1: Jungle Temples & Angkor Thom

8:30 AM – Hotel pickup

Meet your guide at your hotel and travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to the Angkor temple complex.

Ta Prohm
Begin at Ta Prohm, one of Angkor's most atmospheric temples. Explore its ancient galleries and stone corridors surrounded by enormous tree roots. The temple is famous for its appearance in the film Tomb Raider.

Tanei
Continue to Tanei, a lesser-known jungle temple hidden among the trees. Leave the vehicle and enjoy a peaceful walk through the forest to reach this secluded archaeological site.

Ta Keo
Walk through the forest toward the eastern entrance of Ta Keo and explore this impressive pyramid-style temple. Climb to the upper level for views across the surrounding landscape.

Lunch
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Angkor Thom
In the afternoon, enter the ancient walled city through the Victoria Gate and explore the royal area.

Visit the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King, former Royal Palace area, Phimean Akas, and Baphuon.

Bayon Temple
End the temple visits at Bayon, famous for its monumental stone faces and intricate bas-reliefs.

Around 5:00 PM – Return to hotel

Evening – Apsara Dinner
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant while watching a traditional Cambodian Apsara dance performance.

Day 2: Angkor Wat, Preah Khan & Banteay Srei

8:30 AM – Hotel pickup

Depart from your hotel for another full day exploring the Angkor region.

Angkor Wat
Start at the magnificent Angkor Wat, Cambodia's most iconic temple and the world's largest religious monument. Explore its galleries, courtyards, towers, and detailed bas-reliefs with your guide.

Preah Khan
Continue to Preah Khan, a vast ancient temple complex that once served as an important Buddhist center.

Neak Pean
Visit Neak Pean, a unique island temple situated within an ancient reservoir and surrounded by water and vegetation.

Lunch
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Banteay Srei
In the afternoon, travel through the Cambodian countryside to Banteay Srei, often called the "Citadel of Women." Admire its beautifully preserved pink sandstone architecture and exceptionally fine carvings.
