Discover the highlights of Angkor and the surrounding countryside on a 3-day private tour from Siem Reap. This carefully planned journey combines Cambodia’s most impressive temples with peaceful jungle sites, rural landscapes, and an authentic experience of life on Tonlé Sap Lake.

On Day 1, explore the atmospheric jungle temple of Ta Prohm, made famous by its enormous tree roots and appearance in Tomb Raider. Continue to the lesser-visited temples of Ta Nei and Ta Keo before exploring the ancient city of Angkor Thom. See the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King, Royal Palace, Phimean Akas, Baphuon, and the remarkable Bayon Temple with its famous carved faces. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance with dinner.

Day 2 begins with the magnificent Angkor Wat, the iconic centerpiece of the Angkor Archaeological Park. Continue to the atmospheric Preah Khan and Neak Pean before heading to Kampong Phluk. Explore this traditional fishing community, see houses built on stilts, travel through the flooded forest, and experience daily life along Tonlé Sap Lake. End the afternoon with a peaceful sunset boat ride.

On Day 3, travel into the countryside to visit Banteay Srei, renowned for its intricate pink sandstone carvings. Continue with a scenic trek through the forest to Kbal Spean, where ancient Hindu carvings are found along the riverbed near a natural waterfall. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the countryside, meet local farmers and learn about traditional sugar palm production, then visit the beautiful Banteay Samre temple before returning to Siem Reap.

Day 1: Ta Prohm, Ta Nei, Ta Keo & Angkor Thom

Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel and begin your Angkor adventure.

Ta Prohm
Explore the atmospheric jungle temple of Ta Prohm, famous for its enormous tree roots growing over the ancient ruins and its appearance in Tomb Raider.

Ta Nei
Continue to the peaceful and lesser-visited Ta Nei Temple. Walk through the forest to reach this hidden temple and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Ta Keo
Continue through the forest toward Ta Keo and explore this imposing unfinished temple.

Lunch
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Angkor Thom
Enter the ancient walled city through one of its impressive gates and explore the Royal Palace area, Phimean Akas, Baphuon, Elephant Terrace, and Terrace of the Leper King.

Bayon Temple

Evening: Apsara dinner show

Day 2: Angkor Wat, Preah Khan & Kampong Phluk

Kampong Phluk Floating Village
Travel to Kampong Phluk and explore this traditional fishing community on Tonlé Sap Lake. See stilted houses, local fishing activities, and the flooded forest while learning about the daily life of local residents.

Sunset boat ride
Enjoy a relaxing boat ride through the floating village and flooded landscape as the sun sets over Tonlé Sap Lake.

Day 3: Banteay Srei, Kbal Spean & Banteay Samre

Travel into the countryside to begin your final day of exploration.
